This guy is probably going to show up more than once. I got a kick out of recording vocals for his Universal Choir, and his song Deadhead may be my favourite song of all time. But today, it’s this song that is stuck in my head…
Because sometimes, nice things happen in my work, too — and multi-threading has grown into something to be loved, instead of a useful but tricky-to-manage little beastie. It’s been multi-threading playtime this evening, and I’ve been having a lot of fun.
Cats and Nature
We’ve got two cats. One of them loves outside, during the daytime — the other one fears it somewhat. (They don’t get free rein — there are coyotes here, and coyotes do love a cat-shaped snack. So they’re restricted to the deck.) Anyway, the fearful one doesn’t like hawks — smart kitty! — and she’s also afraid of wasps now, and will run a mile whenever one shows up. We think that she probably got stung.
But at night, she transforms! Because when Eric eats a banana…well, not quite, but she does transform from Timid Kitty into the Fearless Tabby, Avenger of the Night. The up-shot of which is, we do let her out at twilight sometimes, but we have to keep our wits about us when we do…
